1. (50 points) Retrieve examples of 5 different multi-spectral image products.

•  Describe each image, what does is show?
• Tell me how the product gets used, an example application.
• How is it  produced (what spectral bands from what sensors on what platform)?

NOTE: Do not take all your examples from one platform, ie., one satellite.

2. (5 points) Explain what this  "mystery feature" is, as its referred to in the Landsat Image Interpretation Tutorial of Morro Bay California? Explain.

3. (40 points) Calculate the central wavelengths for each satellite band shown in the following figure (as best you can). Explain each spectral band relative to the absorption curve for the earths atmosphere, what molecule is doing most of the absorption in each case?

4. (5 points) Describe why products like the digitized vegetation index need to be normalized.
